WE WON! SCOTUS rules 6-3 in favor of employment protections for LGBTQ individuals.

Today is another landmark day in the fight for Equality! The US Supreme Court has ruled in a 6-3 decision that LGBTQ individuals are protected in employment under Title VII of the civil rights act. While we celebrate, we also honor the memory of Aimee Stephens, a trans woman, who brought one of these two cases involved in this decision after being fired for being trans. Aimee died on May 12th before she could see the decision in her case handed down. Once again, the LGBTQ community owes a huge leap forward in our movement to the bravery of trans individuals. Rest in Power Aimee.
